Helen Clough

PhD researcher funded by the EPSRC-MRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Regenerative Medicine at the University of Manchester, based within the Biomaterials and Polymers & Peptides research groups. My PhD project is focussed on developing in vitro models of breast cancer using self-assembling peptide hydrogels for drug screening.

My research experience includes: development and use of a bioreactor, organ culture, 3D cell culture, confocal microscopy, histology, immunohistochemistry and material characterisation.
